Shannon Basso
Shannon Basso is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of BECOMING. She is passionate about educating and equipping women with life-changing biblical truth and is grateful to be a part of a community of women who devote themselves to this cause. Shannon lives in Orlando with her husband, Justin, and three children.
Chrystie Cole
Chrystie is the Women’s Ministry Advisor at Grace Church in Greenville, South Carolina. She was a contributor and editor to Grace Church’s Biblical Femininity study and authored Grace’s Redeeming Sexuality and Body Matters studies. Chrystie and her husband Ken live in Piedmont, South Carolina and together parent their teenage son, Cameron.
sharon beekman
Sharon Beekmann conducts her ministry through Sharon Beekmann Ministries in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She is an Associated Professor at Denver Seminary in the Theology Department. Sharon chairs the Women’s Resource Council for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She is author of Enticed by the Light: The Terrifying Story of One Woman’s Encounter with the New Age. She enjoys time with family, especially playing with her grandchildren.
Heidi dean
Heidi lives in Durham, NC, with her entrepreneur husband and three young girls. She is a graduate of RTS and Duke Divinity and loves serving the women of Church of the Good Shepherd. Books, coffee and exercise are her adult-outlets while homeschooling.
nancy guthrie
Nancy Guthrie lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, David. They have a twenty-something son, Matt, and have had two children, a daughter, Hope, and a son, Gabriel, who were born with a rare genetic disorder called Zellweger Syndrome and each lived six months. Nancy offered many of the lessons she learned from this sorrowful experience in her 2002 book, Holding On to Hope: A Pathway of Suffering to the Heart of God. She speaks regularly at conferences nationally and internationally, and is a regular contributor to The Gospel Coalition.
Abby kelly
Abby Kelly just launched a new season of ministry: motherhood. Previously, she’s called herself an author, editor, Bible study teacher, and pet therapy volunteer in hospices and nursing homes. With this turn toward home, God whispers that new lessons loom about rest, rejecting busyness, humility, and pressing into Him in the quiet. Abby is the author of The Predatory Lies of Anorexia: A Survivor’s Story.
Melissa Kruger
Melissa serves on staff at Uptown Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and speaks regularly at conferences around the country. She is the author of The Envy of Eve and Walking with God in the Season of Motherhood and writes articles for the Gospel Coalition and Christianity.com. Melissa’s most cherished roles include being a wife to Mike, president of Reformed Theological Seminary– Charlotte, and a mother to her three children, Emma, John, and Kate.
Trillia newbell
Trillia Newbell is the author of Enjoy (2017), Fear and Faith: Finding the Peace Your Heart Craves (2015), and United: Captured by God's Vision for Diversity (2014). She is currently Director of Community Outreach for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission for the Southern Baptist Convention. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, and they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN
pat palau
Pat Palau teaches biblical truths drawing examples from her life as an evangelist’s wife. Pat met her husband, evangelist Luis Palau, in the graduate program of Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduation, Pat and Luis embarked on a missionary journey that birthed The Luis Palau Association, a ministry that has seen approximately one million people make commitments to Jesus Christ. Pat has co-authored What to Do When You’re Scared to Death with PeggySue Wells. She and her husband reside in Portland along with their four sons and families.
Leigh Swanson
Leigh is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (MA Theological Studies) and serves the Orlando campus as Associate Dean of Students. She is a pastor’s wife, a mother of three, and an elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Kristi Resler is a mom, mentor, preschool director, and pastor’s wife who is passionate about discipleship. Kristi and her husband, Doug, Senior Pastor of Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church, have served in New Jersey, Alabama, Wisconsin and are happy to be home in Colorado. They live in Parker with their children Chloe, Josiah, Emma, and Sophia.

Catherine Ricketts is a musician and essayist who resides with her husband, Austin, in St. Michaels, Maryland. She works at the Trinity Fellows Academy, helping to guide a cohort of twelve emerging artists, academics, and professionals through a year of vocational discernment amid intentional community. Catherine is pursuing an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Seattle Pacific University.
Ansley Schrimsher
Ansley Schrimsher is the Founder of Dora Mae Jewelry and spends most of her time breathing new life into client’s old heirloom jewelry. She considers this vocation symbolic of her deeper passion—helping her fellow Beloved uncover the splendor of their unique design and live daily in the rhythm of that refining. She lives in Orlando with her two children and her husband, Jake, who joins her in prayer ministry.

Lindsay Swartz serves at the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission as the managing editor of content. She completed her Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She's navigating single life in her 30's and loves movies, traveling, good food, coffee shops, girly things, and sports. She lives in Nashville, TN and is loving every minute of living in Music City.
